This post is a Nothing New Press announcement, so anyone not interested in that can move along, LOL. 😉
UPS has added such a high increase in their fuel surcharge, I assume in
response to high gas prices, that I cannot continue shipping with UPS
at the rates currently posted on the Nothing New Press website. On
September 5th, the first business day after Labor Day, the UPS shipping
rates on the NNP site will increase substantially (for retailers as
well) to reflect my higher costs. I apologize for this; but UPS is
charging us so much more than we are charging our customers, that we
cannot continue with them at the same rate.
We will continue to provide USPS shipping and will add Delivery
Confirmation to all our USPS shipped packages without an extra charge
to our customers. We are also looking into flat rate Priority Mail
shipping through USPS as an option for larger orders. We will get the
Nothing New Press website updated with these changes as soon as we can.
