20 cloves garlic, roasted, with 4 T olive oil
4 medium tomatoes, seared with 2 T olive oil
1/2 c fresh oregano, minced
1/2 c apple cider vinegar
1/4 c honey
1/4 c molasses
1/4 c dark sesame oil
2 chipotle chilis in adobo sauce
2 T cumin
2 tsp salt
Roast the garlic and sear the tomatoes. To sear tomatoes, slice or quarter the tomatoes, drizzle with the olive oil, salt and pepper the tomatoes, and then place them in a skillet on medium heat until the surface is seared. Combine all ingredients in a food processor and process until combined. Yum!
Caution: this barbeque sauce is spicy and hot. Taste test first before feeding to children or the elderly, LOL. To reduce or increase the heatl, reduce or increase the chipotle chiles in adobo sauce.
Update: If unable to find chipotle chiles in adobo sauce, use mock chipotles in adobo sauce.
