Looking for the new moon on the night of October 2, at Mahaffey Park, Loveland, Colorado. The Feast of Trumpets picnic is all ready!
You can see how heavy the cloud cover was right over the mountains, where we expected to be able to see the moon. David, Zane, Grace, and I prayed that God would help us see the moon for ourselves. The clouds parted just enough and we saw it very clearly for more than 30 minutes before it sank back behind the clouds. We didn’t get a picture but everyone ran for their “trumpets” and we made a joyful noise! We had a super wonderful time celebrating with the Carricks and the Magliches!
