I am making these today. They sound delicious. I will report back.
2 c water
2 T sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 c butter, cut into 8 pieces
2 c matzoh meal
Combine the water, sugar, salt, and butter in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in the matzoh meal. Transfer to a bowl and let cool. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Refrigerate for 15 minutes until cool. Spoon onto greased cookie sheets or into greased muffin tins. Bake at 450 degrees for 13 minutes, then turn down heat to 350 degrees and bake another 30 minutes. When brown, remove from oven and place on racks to cool. Use a toothpick or skewer to poke a hole on the bottom of each.
I divided the batter into 12 muffin cups when I made these. These were yummy!
