1/2 c butter
1 c brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c cream (or 1/4 c each banana liqueur and kentucky bourbon)
1 c pecan halves
Melt the butter in a heavy skillet. Stir in the brown sugar and cinnamon until the sugar has completely dissolved. Add the cream or liqueur and pecans, and simmer a few minutes. Spoon the sauce evenly over chilled bananas foster cheesecake and serve, or reserve for another use.
