MSG restructions: Most commercial worcestershire sauces contain MSG (in the soy sauce). MSG, it has been proven, destroys cells in the hypothalamus in the brain, which controls a body’s appetite switch. That is, mammals who eat MSG begin to gain weight until they are grossly obese, because their brain can’t tell the stomach anymore, “Hey! Stop eating! You aren’t hungry!”
Thai Kitchen fish sauce. Worcestershire sauce is mostly fermented anchovies with soy sauce and some other spices added. The problem with soy sauce, it is high in MSG. Thai Kitchen fish sauce has all the fermented anchovy goodness without the soy. Wild Oats, Whole Foods, and Sunflower Market carry Thai Kitchen products.
