Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid annouce a new effort to end the war just as London police diffuse a deadly car bomb filled with gasoline, propane, and nails, reminding everyone that the terrorists are still out there and are still trying to kill us. (On a side note, racial issues top the Democrat debate agenda? And that is not a joke?)
In positive news, the immigration bill went down in flames; this is terribly relevant because we just learned that Al Qaeda is paying a Mexican gang $50,000 a head to smuggle its operatives into the U.S. Now is hardly the time for amnesty. World Net Daily asks its readers what the government should do now that the bill has been defeated. Here’s an idea: how about enforce the immigration laws we already have? Stop rewarding people for breaking the law, and stop jailing border patrol agents for doing their job.
