11 oz roll of refrigerated french bread dough
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 c brown sugar
1-1/2 tsp grated orange peel
1/2 c powdered sugar
1 T orange juice
Roll out the bread dough. Cream the cream cheese, brown sugar, and orange peel; spread onto the dough leaving a 1/4″ border. Roll up lengthwise; cut the dough into 11 1-inch pieces. Lay them in a cake pan and brush with melted butter. Bake in a 375 oven for 25-30 minutes. Meanwhile, mix the orange glaze (powdered sugar and orange juice). Drizzle on the finished rolls.
To make these rolls special for holidays, sprinkle with mini chocolate chips before rolling up, to make chocolate orange rolls. Yum!
