3 apples, cored, cut into 6 wedges, and thinly sliced
1 c chopped figs (dried is fine)
1 c chopped celery
1 c coarsley chopped honey almonds or cashews
1 oz thinly sliced dried beef or crumbled turkey bacon
watercress, snipped (optional)
I like to add about as much baby spinach as there is everything else. This salad can be made with 2 different dressings, and it tastes wonderful with each one.
Dressing A is more traditional; but dressing B is also wonderful! Yum!
