So you don’t have to spend so much on those instant packets that have a lot of sugar and other stuff in them that is not food.
2 c old fashioned rolled oats
1 c unsweetened coconut
1 c walnuts or other nuts, finely chopped (optional)
1/2 c raisins or other dried fruit, finely chopped (optional)
1/2 c sugar or 8 pkts stevia
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
Combine in a quart jar and shake to mix well. Shake before using each time. To make one serving of oatmeal: combine 1/2 c oatmeal mix with 1/2 c water in a cereal bowl, and cook in the microwave for 2 minutes (my microwave takes 2 minutes; test yours). Let set for a few minutes to finish cooking.
Stir in a few T chocolate chips while it is resting if desired. I eat mine with coconut milk poured on top.
