There is nothing new out this weekend worth seeing. Now next week, Narnia opens! But today, we are taking It's a Wonderful Life
to my sister's. We are having dinner over, and watching the movie
afterward. My sister's husband has a digital projector, and a real
movie screen my husband helped him find (my husband collects old
projectors and old movies on film). So we will pull down the movie
screen, and pop the dvd in the projector, and watch the movie on the
big screen. It's a Wonderful Life is my favorite Christmas movie of all time, seconded by Meet John Doe with Gary Cooper and Barbara Stanwyck (not really a Christmas movie, except for the final scene).
Update: first review for King Kong up, it is called “jaw-droppingly brilliant.”
