We visited our county fair last night. We used to go every year because our children were in 4-H for so many years. 4-H is a great organization for families! Look into it if your children are not involved already; they have a lot more going on than livestock and farming. Our children raised goats and rabbits, took gardening, rocketry, photography, and all manner of crafts and home arts through 4-H.
We hadn’t been to the fair in a few years as our children were graduating from school; but this year we met family there and Zane experienced his first of many county fairs, I am sure. Click on the thumbnails to enlarge.

2. Zane with Grandpa, his favorite person after his Mom
and Dad. (Don’t be jealous, Grandma!)
3. Zane’s cousin shows him that train rides are nothing
to be afraid of.
I can’t get over how much older Zane looks in these pictures than he did just one month ago at the farm! He is growing up so fast!
