THREAD
Let’s examine how muddying the waters has become standard practice.
This is why @realDonaldTrump is hated.
He doesn’t let them get away with this.
The argument is that he shouldn’t be executed because when he committed his savage murder at 19, his brain wasn’t fully developed.
“The crime was egregious, his attorney and other advocates agree.”
“But given decades of research since then on adolescent brain development, the announcement from the Justice Department raises a key question: Should a person be given the ultimate punishment for a crime they committed in their youth?”
Guess what?
Here’s what happens during the period of your MIDDLE AGE:
“Existing white matter connections strengthen, allowing the brain to efficiently engage in more complex cognitive tasks.
“Although neural networks are well established, temporal lobe white matter continues to increase, and the brain is capable of rewiring existing connections.”
“Abstract reasoning, mathematical and spatial reasoning, and verbal abilities increase.
“Optimism and social appropriateness increase.”
Brain Changes over the Lifespan
If these change continue until you’re elderly, that means you can NEVER execute someone.
And THAT is the goal here.
To make capital punishment “scientifically” impossible.
But they sidestepped the reason we execute people:
At the time, did the person know right from wrong?
That’s it.
Nothing else matters.
When you’re 19, you know right from wrong.
You bet.
Now, I have no opinion on the death penalty.
I neither support it or oppose it.
If I lost a loved one and were called upon to make a victim-impact statement, I would tell the judge exactly that.
I can live with life in prison without parole OR execution.
Execution is NOT immoral.
It’s NOT murder, since it’s LEGAL.
Duh.
Murder is ILLEGAL deliberate homicide.
The fake security guard who shot to death Lee Keltner in Denver was charged with second-degree murder.
That means they can prove that he impulsively committed illegal homicide, but they can’t prove that it was premeditated.
Personally, I think it was premeditated.
He just didn’t have a specific victim in mind.
But the jury would’ve acquitted him of first-degree murder.
Legal defenses consist mostly of muddying the waters.
Last night I took a look at the case of Jodi Arias, which I hadn’t bothered to study at the time.
She was convicted of the first-degree murder of Travis Alexander, but the jury couldn’t sentence her to death.
Obviously the jury blame Alexander for his own death, since he continue a sexual relationship with Arias after he broke up with her, despite her insane stalking.
For example, she crept into his house one night through the dog door.
He was besotted with her sexually.
She butchered him with a knife and a pistol.
Pathologists testified that he was alive during the knife attack that resulted in 27 stab wounds and a cut throat.
It was an ambush. She lulled him into a sense of safety by taking his picture and then stabbing him seconds later.
On the stand, she was cold and haughty.
But my guess is that people found it too hard to sentence a sexy dangerous chick to death.
The Internet is full of the graphic nude photos Alexander took of her.
People don’t take homicidal women seriously.
So Arias got life in prison without the possibility of parole.
The defense was–of course–that Alexander was abusive, so she defended herself.
Muddying the waters.
A good legal reform would be requiring that the defense provide evidence of its “theories,” as they’re called.
But the best advice you can ever get is to steer clear of ANYTHING that might drop you into the swamp of the “justice” system.
We’re getting back to common sense.
The former 19-year-old whose defense was that his brain was not yet developed?
Federal inmate executed after Supreme Court cleared the way Thursday
He’s gone.
The feds are starting to execute people again.
If they know right from wrong, and if the penalty can be death, then I have no sympathy.
It doesn’t matter if they’ve changed.
Their VICTIMS haven’t changed.
They’re still dead.
The Trump Era is a return to clear thinking.
By 2024, clear thinking will dominate all fields.
Guaranteed.
Don’t believe me?
Leftists Burn U.S. Flag, Attack Boston Police During ‘Anti-Democrat Violence’ Rally
“‘This is a peaceful protest against Democrat violence, and they’re proving our point,’ event organizer Samson Racioppi of Super Happy Fun America told the Herald reporter.”
Of course.
Today’s leftists have only one setting:
Berserk.
They still have TONS of voters to drive away.
So they will.
